CW Celebrates its New Kobelco Dealership with Ribbon Cutting

Company Wrench recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate its new Kobleco dealership located in Smithfield, North Carolina. Held on September 26th, the grand opening was attended by representatives of Kobelco, Terex, LaBounty, Sentry Tire, and Strickland buckets. The grand opening featured a ribbon cutting ceremony with members of Company Wrench and Kobelco, and featured door prizes, food, and facility tours for their customers.
Among the attendees were: Katsuhiko “Pete” Morita, Kobelco President & CEO; Ron Hargrave, Kobelco VP Sales & Marketing; George Lumpkins, Kobelco Product Marketing Manager; Terry Gaylord, Kobelco Field Service Representative; Matt Csoka, Kobelco Southeast Territory Sales Manager; Wesley Brubaker, Kobelco Field Service Representative; Daven Tan, Sentry Tire VP Sales & Marketing, Tim Collie, LaBounty Regional Sales Manager; Greg Gerbus, Terex; Nick Simmons, Strickland; and Sean O'Reily, Strickland as well as Company Wrench’s management team.
Scott Fur, was also in attendance, at the Grand Opening, where he received an award from Kobelco President & CEO, Katsuhiko “Pete” Morita, for buying the first Kobelco from Company Wrench’s new Smithfield dealership.
Company Wrench’s new Kobelco dealership located in Smithfield North Carolina is a 10,920 sqaure foot facility with a full service and parts department. The dealership will carry a full line of Kobelco excavators, Strickland buckets, Terex articulated trucks, Terex Fuchs material handlers, Gehl skid steers, Stanley and LaBounty attachments, Liugong Wheel Loaders, Dressta Dozers, and much more of Company Wrench’s comprehensive line of heavy equipment and attachments (some equipment for rental only).
The service department houses six bay doors with a twenty foot clear ceiling height. The service department at the new location is home to Vic Pounds, Senior Field Technician; Matt Newton, Lead Shop Technician, and Todd Privette, Field Technician.
Dan Hoover is the Parts Manager at Smithfield, which carries Kobelco, Fleet Guard, Terex Fuchs, Kobelco, Komatsu, LaBounty, Terex trucks, Sentry tires, and ground engaging parts. Hoover has over 20 years of experience in the parts business with 8 years of experience in heavy equipment parts.
Tom MacGibbon, the General Manager of the Smithfield dealership has an extensive background in the heavy equipment industry. Tom started in the business in 1999 as a rental coordinator for a Komatsu dealer, and for the next 13 years worked as a rental/sales territory manager.
